I remember Mr Popa in my early years of college... didn't like him , thought he was too rigorous etc.. then i changed, settled, well, put my life in order and along with that, my activity in college. Started going to school, actually attending the classes (lol) , participating in whaatever activities there were.... I started enjoying his classes and because I loved a challenge, while all my college mates selected Romanian teachers for their diploma thesis in either Romanian literature or grammar because it was just easier (Romanian language teachers were more tolerant and eager to award a student with high grades than the English Language teachers )- I chose Mr Popa as my guide. I found him very helpful and supportive. While my other college mates were given the already-composed diploma thesis by their teachers , I actually had to make my own , like any graduate student should( but you guys know how it is , right ? ) .... He helped me structure it and the satisfaction was great when I got a good grade for my own sweat :-))) if you know what I mean .
I definitely recommend him as a teacher. I think he is very capable and eager to help his students. He is also fair in giving grades and gives recognition to a student who works hard for an exam. Thumbs-up for Mr Lucian Popa !
